They have developed the Chromatrap product range. It uses a porous plastic Vyon frit as the support base for Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP). Traditional methods use agarose or magnetic beads, but the functionalisation of the Vyon frit to bind protein has a number of benefits to the researcher: more sensitive preparations, with higher counts, lower backgrounds, that are easier, faster and completed in fewer steps.
